Samsung Galaxy S5 now available in Luxurious Copper Gold in India

Earlier in their Unpacked event at MWC 2014 in Barcelona, Samsung Unveiled their new flagship, Samsung Galaxy S5. Late March they did the same in India and also released their Gear series.

Today, Samsung Electronics, India’s leading smartphone manufacturer, have announced the availability of Galaxy S5 in an all new Copper Gold color in India. The Copper Gold variant can be bought from Samsung retail and e-stores from today onwards. The new Galaxy S5 offers a refined experience than what consumers found in the previous versions of TouchWiz.

Samsung is giving exciting offers on all colours of Samsung Galaxy S5.On every purchase of Galaxy S5, company is offering its customers, a gift coupon worth Rs. 5000 on accessories and more and Galaxy Gifts worth Rs.34000 on premium applications. With every purchase of Galaxy S5 till May 31, 2014; the customer will get a gift coupon worth Rs. 5000 via sms, which is redeemable at Samsung India e-store. With this offer, the customer can go to the e-store and can get an additional value worth Rs.5000 on purchase from accessories, wearables, mobiles and tablets through the coupon. The coupon is valid till 15th June or till stocks last.

With Samsung Galaxy S5, customers will also get access to free premium and exclusive applications worth Rs. 34,000. Customers can access these applications from Galaxy Gifts widget on their Samsung Galaxy S5 or through Samsung apps.

Samsung is also giving its customers a chance to upgrade to Galaxy S5 on exchange of any working smartphone and avail a minimum rebate of Rs.7500. This offer is valid for a limited period!

Samsung Galaxy SIII Explodes inside a girls Pocket

Yes you read it right. And this has happened before too with different phones
An 18 year old woman in Switzerland was badly burned when her Samsung Galaxy SIII exploded when inside her right pocket. This happened while she was at work.

This is rather disturbing and the phone has been sent to Samsung for further investigation

Android 4.3 Update 'Round the Corner

There have been many leaks reported and well it was then up on SamMobile about a Android 4.3 running Galaxy S4 was out there in the wild. Now reports are coming in about a similar one for the Xperia Z.
All these can just indicate one thing. Android 4.3 is just around the corner.
Although the only thing truly different about this update was the Always On WiFi and of course the notifications which could be managed via another app, but there are more in the making. (Hopeful)
Although Google is mum about any event they would be holding so either another Android isn't so close. Or it's not going to make too much of a big deal out of it.

The Galaxy S4 Will get CyanogenMod

Team Hacksung (The team behind Samsung Galaxy's CyanogenMod's) had expressed concerns about whether Cyanogen would support Samsung's latest Flagship, The Galaxy S4 or not. Samsung is known NOT to release much of their source codes for their phones therefore meaning developers can't develop custom rom's or atleast stable one's for phones. No one was ready to buy the S4 and well "There was a uniform 'no' from the team" Although it couldn't have been taken as a final word.Well, It looks like there actually is a good news. the Cyanogen team has announced their very first nightly for the S4. T-Mobile and other Canadian variants of the phone would be recieving the initial love.

The good news is they would also be supporting the International GSM version of the phone, The i-9500 as soon as they get a hold of the phone obviously so take this news with a pinch of salt. But well, Better Late than Never Right? 

Samsung Shows off it's new features inside the Galaxy S4

Samsung has released a new TV Commercial in which it shows off various new and uniuqe features which it has embedded into it's new Touch-wiz like Air View for viewing messages without a touch, Air Gesture for picking up calls with just a wave of hand and going into speaker mode, Drama-Shot which is combining multiple pictures into 1, S-Beam for transferring Photos with a touch and ofcourse TV Controlling through it's inbuilt Infrared Blaster.
