BBM to be released September 21

Finally, BlackBerry announced BBM which will be released to the play store on September 21st, at 7:00AM EST.
That would be 4:30PM of the same day for the Indians out there.

Even though this is a good news for most of us, there will still be lay-offs in December in BlackBerry in most of the Departments of the country.

Although this really is just bloatware for now as you can just Register yourself a BB ID which you would need while actually registering for your BBM.
After registering, it will ask you to login (probably after verification) and then it will stop at "Setting up BBM" See attached Screenshots. The Official release could be as soon as this upcoming Friday!
Feel free to download and install the apk I've shared below!
BBM Communications Director Victoria Berry had this to say on the impending launch:
The excitement around the upcoming BBM launch on iPhone and Android devices seems to know no bounds. Although I’m a big fan of this passion, I want to clarify that no one will have an exclusive on offering BBM. We’ll be bringing the app to Android and iPhone users across the globe soon

Android? iPhone? BlackBerry? NSA has got its eyes on you!

Unless you have been living away from civilization the last couple of months, you must have heard of the recent Privacy scandal by the US intelligence Agency National Security Agency (NSA) unearthed by Edward Snowden, who now is reportedly a Refugee in Russia.
Top secret NSA documents which SPIEGEL (A German News Weekly) saw explicitly revealed that iPhone & Android Mobile operating systems could be tapped into by NSA and extracted all the user data like Contacts, SMS Traffic and even your location. Even BlackBerry, which claims to be highly secure could also tapped in.

The documents suggest that several groups were specifically assigned per operating system to gain access to the data
Sony has long been one of those doing vaguely peculiar things with its product. And here is one of the new emerges. An add-on lens to your existing Xperia Device.
